A PRUDHOE man pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply cocaine when he appeared at Newcastle Crown Court on Wednesday.

David Walton (39) of Park Lane, was arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into drug dealing in Prudhoe.

A date for sentencing is yet to be set and Walton has been remanded in custody.

Meanwhile, Timothy Alsop (43) of North View, Mickley; Shaun Sharkey (28) of Tulip Street, Prudhoe; and Sean Rutherford (28) of Ovington View, Prudhoe, have all pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine.

A pre-trial hearing is listed for December 10. All three were granted conditional bail.
