Man charged with stabbing in Wylam

A PRUDHOE man charged with wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm will appear at Newcastle Crown Court.
James Isaac Madine (37) of Milton Grove, appeared at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court last Thursday after a man was stabbed in the neck at The Ship Inn at Wylam on Monday, March 26.
The case was committed to the Crown Court and Madine, who was remanded in custody, is due to appear on April 13.
