Prudhoe snaps up 2013 calendar
Last updated at 12:34, Monday, 10 December 2012
STRIKING images of Prudhoe have been used for a 2013 calendar.
Residents Bill and Moira Wooldridge, who act as photographers for Prudhoe Community Partnership, took the shots and put them to use to raise money for the charity.
Among the pictures are Dragon Tale producer Wendy Neal carrying the Olympic Torch along Prudhoe’s Front Street, the Miners’ Race in July and the town’s Remembrance parade.
Partnership chief executive Yvonne Probert said: “Bill and Moira took photographs for us during the building of the new Spetchells Centre, and then became our community photographers, taking photos of our events.”
The calendars are on sale at Prudhoe’s Spetchells Centre and the Stationery Shop on Front Street at a cost of £5 each.
